No matter if you are looking for a simple curated design or a majestic, expansive fall display we are willing to customize for you. With a wide service area including New Hanover, Pender, Brunswick, and Sampson County we are able to bring all things fall to you. Additional locations can be available with a delivery fee. How do I get started?Getting started is easy! Browse our pumpkin packages and choose the option that best fits your porch size, style, and aesthetic. Whether you’re looking for a simple seasonal touch or a grand front porch transformation, we have a package to match your vision.
If you’re unsure which package is right for your home, simply send us a photo of your porch. Seeing your space helps us recommend the best package and provide personalized suggestions to bring your vision to life.
What makes you different?Our pumpkins are more than just seasonal decor, they are carefully selected to create beautiful, high-end displays while supporting local eastern North Carolina agriculture. We hand-pick each pumpkin for its quality, shape, color, and character, ensuring every installation feels unique and thoughtfully designed.
Before your pumpkins are delivered and installed, each one receives an initial vinegar rinse to help clean the surface and promote longer-lasting freshness. While pumpkins are naturally perishable and will eventually begin to age, this extra step helps them look their best for as long as possible.
What Should I Expect After Booking?From the moment you book, we will keep you informed every step of the way so your installation is seamless and stress-free.
Shortly after completing your purchase, you’ll receive an order confirmation via email with your package details.
A few days prior to your chosen delivery week, we’ll send you a text with your tentative installation day so you know when to expect us.
The day before your installation, we’ll send a confirmation text with your arrival window and collect any gate codes, parking instructions, or other access information. We also ask that your porch be cleared before we arrive.
Once your display is complete, we’ll send you a confirmation text and picture of your completed fall display!
What payment methods do you accept?We accept payment through our secure online booking portal, as well as cash, check, Square Tap to Pay, and Venmo.If you’d prefer to pay on the day of your installation or use one of these alternate payment methods, simply reach out to us through our Contact page. We’ll be happy to send you a customized invoice with your preferred payment option.
Terms and ConditionsBecause pumpkins are a natural, perishable product, each pumpkin is unique and will vary in size, shape, color, and appearance. While we carefully select pumpkins to create a beautiful display that reflects the package you choose, exact varieties and dimensions cannot be guaranteed. Weather conditions and seasonal availability may also affect selection. These natural variations are part of what makes every pumpkin display one of a kind.
Salt & Gourd is not responsible for factors out of our control including weather conditions, sun exposure, temperature fluctuations, wildlife, insects, pests, and other related damage. We do not offer refunds, replacements, or repairs for pumpkins that experience natural decay, pest damage, theft, or other deterioration after installation. By purchasing a pumpkin package, you acknowledge and accept the inherent nature of seasonal products and variations in lifespan and appearance.
Installation DayOn installation day please ensure your designated decorating area is cleared of any furniture or decor you’d like removed, secure any pets inside, and provide any gate codes or special instructions needed to access your property. These simple steps help us complete your installation safely and efficiently.
You do not need to be home during your pumpkin installation. Our team will transform your porch while you’re away, and we’ll send you a text with a photo once your display is complete. Most installations take approximately one to two hours, though timing may vary depending on the size and complexity of your selected package.
